Sarah brings more than 25 years of experience in both quantitative and qualitative client service to Field Source. Sarah's expertise spans a wide range of research methodologies and industry sectors garnered from years of working her way through the ranks to executive positions of some of Canada's largest research firms. Sarah is able to translate the needs of research clients to ensure that our project teams are able to execute against these often stringent requirements. As Managing Director, Sarah develops customer relationships, generates new business and is involved in client service project management tasks for all research methodologies. Sarah's experience includes managing extensive multi-country projects, ethnic studies and complex hybrid studies. She has worked for clients in both the public and private sectors including Finance Canada, Nissan Canada, Nortel, Spin Master, The Richards Group, Publicis, Ogilvy, Labatt, Frost & Sullivan and TD Canada Trust. Throughout her career, Sarah has been actively involved in the research community, she has held positions as Standards Chair, Holiday Party Chair, QRD Recruiting Representative and on several conference committees. Sarah is currently on the marketing committee for the MRIA 50th anniversary conference. Sarah has published many articles in Imprints and Vue on the subject of data collection.
Jacob has extensive experience in international business,as a family practitioner, medical research and business management. Combining his marketing research experience with his medical degree, it is easy for Jacob to conduct interviews with family practitioners, specialists and c-level executives. Jacob has conducted research for pharmacuetical companies, manufacturers and research agencies. As President of Field Source, Jacob is involved in strategic planning, financial management, consulting and project management. He is fluent in three languages.
With more than 15 years of experience, working in research, from initial requests for proposals to final delivery of data, Monica is a client service professional and an expert in project management. Monica's skills range from providing cost quotations, questionnaire editing, client reporting, internal team management, trouble-shooting, budget control and overseeing all facets of data collection. Her clients have ranged from government and non-profit organizations, to financial institutions, pharmaceutical and automotive companies and consumer products. She has managed studies in all methodologies, with particularly expertise in managing customer satisfaction studies. Understanding the nuances of methodologies, Monica is able to effectively manage and deliver any type of project within budget, on-time and on spec. Monica has managed studies for some of the world's most prestigious companies including Royal Bank, First Niagara Bank, IBM, HP, Pfizer, Astra Zeneca, Enterprise Rental Car and Shell.
Michael is a well-seasoned research professional who has the ability to get past gatekeepers and effectively research business executives as he has extensive experience working as an executive for several different organizations. Michael’s area of expertise has been sought for special projects in a wide array of business issues including financial management, marketing research and related business management. Michael has worked for such prestigious firms as First Supply, Alcoa Building Products, Nichols Homeshield and Mercury Marine. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin.
Peter brings with him more than 20 years of market research while based in South Africa, Canada and Hong Kong. During his tenure in Canada, Peter and Sarah worked together as directors of ACNielsen DJC Research in Toronto. Peter is our partner in Asia Pacific, prior to joining Aha! Research, Peter served as Managing Director of Nielsen NetRatings Hong Kong, the Internet Audience Measurement firm within The Nielsen Company group. Before joining Nielsen NetRatings in March 2000, he served as Director of Client Services of ACNielsen International Research (Hong Kong) specializing in multi-country research projects in the Asia Pacific region and around the world. He was transferred to Hong Kong in 1996 from Canada where he was a Director of ACNielsen Customised Research in Toronto for seven years. Before joining ACNielsen, Peter held positions with consulting firms in Canada and also taught marketing and business courses at the University of Pretoria and the University of South Africa. During this time he widely published in journals and other trade publications specifically addressing marketing research, marketing audits, and deceptive advertising. Born in and educated in South Africa, Peter holds a B.Com (Industrial Psychology), B.Com Marketing (Honors) from the University of Johannesburg and an M.Com (Strategic Marketing) degree from the University of Pretoria. Peter is a founding member of the Asia Digital Marketing Association (ADMA), established in 2002.
Kevin is an insightful marketing and communications professional. He has extensive management experience working as a senior executive in several Canadian advertising agencies and in senior marketing roles on the client side. He has worked extensively in advertising on both national and international accounts. Since retiring from advertising, Kevin has continued to work as a consultant in marketing, media and research. Kevin's work with Field Source includes consulting, client service and executive interviewing.
